Walker Foster has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Residential Conveyancer/Paralegal to join them. You will be based at our Silsden office. We are long established in the local area (one hundred years old this year) and so you will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of residential property work and a very strong local client base. You will be working with a highly experienced conveyancing team in a very client-focused environment. This is very much an opportunity to drive your career forward.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload including leasehold, freehold, and new build projects from instruction to legal completion, in addition to building and maintaining excellent client relationships and developing a personal client base.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
We are looking for a full-time residential conveyancer/paralegal that has at least 2 years experience of managing a mixed caseload of freehold and leasehold property, sale and purchase, shared ownership, new build and Help to Buy. You will be a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or a Paralegal. What is key is that you possess demonstrable experience of dealing with a wide range of residential conveyancing issues, have excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, a positive outlook and the desire to offer outstanding client service. You will be ambitious and want to join a growing business in which you will have the opportunity to develop and progress. You will have strong IT skills and experience of case management systems will give your application a distinct advantage. Working very much as part of a team, you must be friendly, approachable and a great team player.
