Mariette Marren

Solicitor

Mariette joined the residential conveyancing department at Walker Foster in June 2020 as a Solicitor having completed her undergraduate law degree at Lincoln University.

She then went on to do the Legal practice course at the University of Law, qualifying as a chartered legal executive through CILEX in February 2019 and then passing the professional skills course to qualify as a solicitor in April 2019. 

Based at our Harrogate office she manages a varied caseload of conveyancing transactions including freehold, leasehold, new builds, transfers of equity and re-mortgages.

Down to earth in her approach to legal advice, she is enthusiastic about building strong relationships with clients, Solicitors and Estate Agents ensuring that transactions progress smoothly and efficiently. 

Mariette has a strong history in the area, having lived and worked in Harrogate for a number of years. She has great knowledge of the local area which is not only beneficial to the speed that the transaction proceeds but also the accuracy of work that is carried out.

Mariette has a little boy, born in June 2022, two ragdoll cats called Baloo and Simba and two guinea pigs called Timon and Pumbaa. She also plays the guitar, flute and piano.
