We have a new addition to our Private Client Team in Barnoldswick with a new Legal Executive joining us.

Kelly Gill joins us as a specialist in Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Wills. Kelly achieved her LLB and LPC at the University of Huddersfield. Upon leaving university, she worked in a highly regarded Leeds firm.

She has a passion for helping people with future planning and ensuring their affairs are in order.

Kelly said: “I have always been interested in Private Client matters. Before I embarked on a legal career, my background was in banking, and I enjoyed helping advise people on issues concerning their future and finances.

“I have since built up a local reputation in handling all types of Private Client matters and advising clients with the correct help and support for them.”

Kelly is also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and is a dementia friend, having attended training.

She said: “I think it is vital that we can provide the proper support and understanding to those in the early stages of dementia.

“Over the years, I have had many clients who are starting to show signs of Alzheimer’s. We must be able to see the signs and know how we can best help a client in these situations.”

In 2015, Kelly moved to a local firm where she began building her Private Client caseload specialising in Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney and Probate matters.

Kelly joined the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) as a graduate member in 2017 and became a fellow in 2018.
