Walker Foster Solicitors supports Alzheimer’s charity

alzheimersAlzheimer’s Society is the leading UK care and research charity for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, their families and carers.

As part of this fundraising effort, Maggie Bugler of the Barnoldswick office, trained hard to run the BUPA, Great North Run, the world’s biggest half marathon. Over 56,000 runners took to the streets of the North East from Newcastle, across the iconic Tyne Bridge and onto the picturesque coastal finish in South Shields.

Maggie, shown on the left of the picture,completed the 13.1 mile race in a fantastic 2hours 10 minutes and 7 seconds!

Maggie commented: “I am very pleased to be able to support the Alzheimer’s Society; it was an incredibly rewarding and fun experience. We were delighted our team managed to raise £1,888.90.  The society needs our support to continue their work in the fight against dementia.”
