Sue joined Walker Foster in 2011 bringing with her over 30 years of legal office experience. She originally came as a Conveyancing Assistant, providing holiday cover and additional support to all branch offices. Her efficiency, attention to detail and high work ethic were very quickly noted and in early 2012 when one of the firm’s busiest Conveyancers at the Ilkley office needed permanent support she was the obvious choice.
Sue remained at Ilkley assisting the Conveyancing Partner. During this time she developed strong relationships with clients and many of the town’s local businesses. Although she enjoyed this role immensely, Sue’s aspirations lay with taking on her own caseload. In the summer of 2016 when the opportunity arose for her to move to our Silsden office as a Conveyancing Executive she was very quick to accept this new and exciting challenge.
Fast forward to today and Sue is a highly regarded and integral part of the Silsden property team. She has a busy caseload and has put together an excellent team of support staff to assist with her ever-expanding caseload. She has developed important and beneficial links with the town’s Estate Agents and IFA’s and has expanded her client base and connections to Cross Hills.
Best part of the job for Sue:
The feeling of satisfaction at having a very happy client at the end of a transaction and going home in the evening after having a very busy and productive day with lots of new work coming in!
