Our colleague, Peter Walker, has retired from his full-time ...
Karen joined the Private Client department at Walker Foster’s Silsden office in October 2016. Karen has a specialism in Wills, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. She has worked in the Legal profession since 2003 and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2010.
Strong addition to the Private Client team at Silsden, Karen is very much a team player and her ‘people skills’ and genuine caring attitude towards those she works with and the firm’s clients is apparent in her day to day work.
Karen has strong links to Silsden and its surrounding areas, having lived and worked in the town for fifteen years. During that time she has built up excellent relationships with local families and the business community. Karen’s understanding of what really matters to those who live and work in the town helps her to deliver exactly the sort of legal service the community want.
She is the sort of lawyer who is passionate about improving the lives of people in the community who have a need for support and she has strong links to the charity Carers Resource who offer support and advice to those who care for a family member or friend. Karen has done voluntary work for the charity at local level and arranged for advice and presentations for carers from organisations such as NHS, Trading Standards and the Fire Service.
