In her role as a Litigation Solicitor in the Business Team, Ellie is dedicated to providing a friendly and professional service to all clients in a way that suits them, whether that be to individuals or commercial entities. Ellie recognises how important it is for clients to feel that their best interests are being held at heart, both financially and personally, and her approachable but straight talking nature means that clients feel fully informed as to the status and progress of their matter throughout, whilst taking account of the client’s aim and the overall bigger picture.

Ellie has experience in many types of disputes, which includes but it not limited to:

  • Housing and Landlord and Tenant Litigation, including possession, rights of way and adverse possession matters;
  • Commercial Property disputes, including lease disputes, disrepair and dilapidations;
  • Contentious probate and Inheritance Act claims;
  • Breach of Contract;
  • Restrictive covenant litigation;
  • Business to Consumer disputes;
  • Insolvency matters;
  • Professional negligence; and
  • Debt recovery.

Ellie recognises that litigious disputes can be a stressful time for the parties involved and endeavours to assist not only in a legal sense, but also in shouldering some of the sometimes heavy burden in these matters.

Ellie achieved her LL.B Law degree at Teesside University and had since worked with a highly regarded firm in Teesside in its Commercial Litigation Department before joining Walker Foster in February 2021.

She looks forward to developing Walker Foster’s dispute resolution offering.
